Basically I gave up trying make use of this book.It has some of the usual stuff included in books on this subject, like instrument ranges. More of a 3.5 than a 4, but not enough off from the previous storylines to have me not hope for a resurgence in the next book.. For the first 50 pages or so, you keep on reading, hoping it'll grab you, because there's so much there to play with!
